About the Game

Ever interested in how top down / isometric games are built. Interested in seeing how developers test out different mechanics before implementing them in a level that may not have been designed yet. Well in The Top Down Debug Room, I put together different game elements for testing and balancing.


The player controls a debug character (cube) using WASD for movement. The space bar allows the player to jump. The P key can be used for grabbing the cylinder. The sphere will chase players when too close. There is flooring that bounces players high in the sky and flooring that slides the player across. Finally, there is a mini-map in the top corner for knowing your location in the level.
