Ever wonder what goes on behind a Pokeball and wonder why sometimes you can catch something and other times not. We all have our superstitions on why a catch happens or not. Well I decided to do some research and figure it out. With this code I explore the basics of catch mechanics in the sixth generation of Pokemon games (X&Y).
This mini-game runs in the console and lets the player decide how much damage they want to do to a creature. Decide if they want to put a status on the creature. Then finally decide the type of capture device to use. It will then inform players if they have caught the creature or not. Players can do this over and over again until they catch the creature or reduce all of its HP to 0.
